Woodland diarama under glass

Woodland diarama under glass. Minature nature study made with crochet and embroidered elements. Hundreds of stitches have gone into this lichen and fungi woodland study.

The felt base is made from 100% wool felt and covered in numerous embroidery stitches. Added to this are 25 individual elements securely sewn to the felt base. The British Soldier Lichen and fungi pieces are movable as they contain wire. The felt base is attached to a glass base with the dome fitting snugly to the work.
